Trombone Shorty Manchester Concert reviews
Casting Crowns was amazing!!!!!!
Garth was fantastic as usual! The venue was terrible!
The Sunday afternoon show, which was my 9th Trombone Shorty concert, was not good at all. The venue did great as always! I know Trombone Shorty's shows very well and I am one of his biggest fans. I went to the Friday night show and Trombone Shorty did great. The traffic was horrible. Having to sit on the ground was so hot, I was literally dumping $4 bottles of water over me. We pay over $150 for a ticket plus parking...and we had to sit on the ground. There was the water that you could get from around the porta potties, where people washed their hands. But it was so far away. The hills, the mulch, the gravel, the walking...just everything about it was negative. Sunday it was so hot. By the time I got there to fill up my water bottles, I felt like I was going to either pass out or throw up because of the heat. I will never ever attend anything at this venue...ever again. The only reason I have even gave 3 stars is because I didn’t want anyone to think that my low rating was because of Trombone Shorty's concert itself. It has everything to do with the planning or lack of planning that went into this concert.
Amazing show!!!
The show was loved and still had seats that were high up and to the side a bit. They were having fun, energetic, and you could tell. The overall feel you got an overview of everything. We hadn't had enough, so we purchased tickets for the next night in Boca and got back to the hotel that night. The groups made you feel like it was an intimate show, no matter where you sat or stood. We got front and center just a couple people from the front of the stage and were able to get lucky. The two shows had very different venues and people, but this concert was one of the best I've ever been to.
Amazing
The experience was amazing from start to finish. We planned on taking our daughter to Disney land, but many attractions were closed due to Covid. Instead, we took her to Trombone Shorty on ice in Albany, NY. The whole experience was smooth and delightful. The purchase of tickets, parking, pics with Minnie and Mickey props, security, directions to our seats, purchasing souvenirs, and leaving the arena were all seamless. The staff were all incredibly kind. The show was absolutely worth the money and fantastic. We bought 4 adult and 1 child ticket, and all of us enjoyed it equally. Hearing the kids sing along and cheer for their favorite characters brought so much joy. The actors were outstanding and made the room feel magical. While the seating could be updated, I would give this event a 10 out of 10.
